You can even have a piece custom-made, just for you! Featured Custom Design:Bleacher Table and Benches
This custom creation holds a special place in our hearts. It was designed by Dick and built with reclaimed lumber from bleachers in Sigourney, IA where Dick grew up. A few broken planer blades and a lot of hard work went into this unique piece. A little piece of our history made new. It's found its new home at Pointe D'Vine.

Natural Edge Table
Repurposed from a bench, we added hairpin legs to give it a modern touch. Works as both an entry table or sofa table.

Charcuterie Boards
Our charcuterie boards are one-of-kind depending on our lumber supply. Walnut, oak, or pine, our boards will make your food look great!

Flight Decks
For all our craft beer fans, this one's for you! Made from reclaimed walnut, oak, or pine. We furnish the glasses or add your favorite brewery tasting glasses.

Baking Cabinet
Our client came to us with two doors, vintage bubble glass, and a vision. This baking cabinet is made from reclaimed yellow pine and walnut from our family farm. Finished in a dark grey, this is sure to be a family heirloom.

Stereo Cabinet
Our client was looking for a way to organize his stereo system with a compact design. We created the cabinet and matching speaker stands from reclaimed barn rafters and black iron pipe.

Side Tables
Custom sized to fit our client's living area, these two side tables boast quarter sawn oak tops from the tornado house, interior adjustable shelf, and diamond mesh door panels.

Drawer Base with Desktop
This custom piece was architect designed to fit in a downtown loft apartment utilizing ceiling joists demoed from the same building.

Waterfall Countertop
Architect inspired, this waterfall countertop is not something you see very often in new home construction. That's why it's a perfect fit for this loft apartment with views of the Mississippi.

Shelf with Towel Bar
Quickly give an updated look to your bath with this reclaimed shelf with black iron pipe towel bar. There's a matching iron pipe toilet paper holder to complete your bath remodel.

Home Office
Perfect for the work-from-home executive, this L-shape desk has a distressed finish and rustic reclaimed walnut top.

Coffee Bar
Keep all your mugs, coffee beans, and essentials right above your coffee station! This version of our popular coffee bar is made from rough-sawn oak and holds six of your favorite mugs.

Shiplap Headboard & Nightstand
Shiplap is not just for walls! We designed and built this queen headboard with a top shelf from reclaimed shiplap from the tack room of an old barn. The rescued side table was a perfect match and just needed a new drawer and walnut top.

Zip Code Signs
Perfect for a wedding, housewarming, or that loved one who moved away and needs a littlie piece of home. These are custom-made from reclaimed lumber and hand painted with zip code of your choice. Do a stack of all the places you've lived!

Checkout Stand
This custom piece is currently being used as a checkout stand in a downtown Quincy business. It’s made from reclaimed lumber
from an Illinois barn on the Mississippi river bottoms.

Custom Island
A surprise present delivered to our
client’s daughter on her birthday,
this custom island has two top
drawers, cabinet space, and room
to display cookbooks on an open
shelf. The top is made from reclaimed
barn rafters and has an
overhang perfect to slide stools under.

Bathroom Vanity
This custom bathroom vanity was custom designed and built from reclaimed oak from an old Quincy, IL horse barn. We added an undermount copper sink and barn tin from our family’s century farm near Eddyville, IA.

Barn Quilt Chairs
Nothing says farm style like a barn quilt! Incorporate this style into your home in creative ways, like these chair patterns. Pick your design and colors, and we'll customize a piece for you. See how we did it: Custom Barn Quilt Chairs

Tic-Tac-Toe
Requested by our client, the tic-tac-toe toilet paper holder is made from reclaimed walnut and oak. The
accompanying shelf
incorporates old-growth yellow pine and black iron pipe.

Red Sideboard
One of our favorite pieces! This sideboard was custom-built with wood and barn tin from the Eddyville farm; the top is beautiful solid walnut. The red gives it a great pop of rustic color.

Outdoor Kitchen Station
Created from our client’s demoed cedar decking, this custom outdoor sink also includes a tilt-out recycling area. It's our philosophy: reuse, renew, relive. How'd we do it? Custom Outdoor Kitchen Station

Barn Tin Trees
Made from authentic “right off the barn” tin and reclaimed wood bases, our barn tin trees aren’t just for Christmas. Their rustic design is a great year-round fit for cabin or farmhouse décor.
Harvest Table
A bit of a Frankenstein piece, this harvest table is actually made from materials we found in a few different places. The top is oak from the Eddyville century farm, and the legs are from a different barn outside Mount Pleasant, IA.
Twister Cabinet
Named after the 1984 tornado that took the roof off the Rees house in Sigourney, Iowa. We rescued it 35-years later from the shop, built new feet, barn tin back, salvaged the hardware and veneer medallions, and gave it a fresh coat of paint and wax. It now proudly sits in our canning kitchen.

Blue Sideboard
A smaller version of the red sideboard, this blue version makes a bold statement as a bar, a kitchen island, and many other purposes.

Hairpin Coffee Table
This coffee table added a rustic, yet modern look to our client’s home. Made from reclaimed barn lumber with a natural finish, it pairs well with the matching entry table.

Vintage Cabinet
We found this cabinet near Quincy, IL and gave it a fresh look. We rebuilt the possum belly drawers, added barn tin and chicken wire, and painted it a sunny color; the countertop and breadboard are original.

Dick made a fabulous walnut tabletop for our kitchen out of old, twisted planks. The tabletop is solid and beautifully crafted. It is exactly what I wanted.💗 I would highly recommend Inspired by the Farm to anyone looking for unique, repurposed, and original rustic/farmhouse/industrial/antique furniture and decor. I look forward to some more “finds” in the near future.
